    Like something specific

    A photo, an answer to a question: like exactly what speaks to you and add a sentence. It’s the best way to start a conversation.

    If the other person likes what you wrote, they like you back. Then you have a match.

Roses

A rose says: you stand out.

Send a rose instead of a like when someone really interests you. Roses appear at the very top of the other person’s likes.

Safety

Real people. Clear rules.

Most encounters are lovely. To keep it that way, Lovyu has a few firm rules.

  • Photos reviewed

    Others only see new photos once we’ve looked at them.

  • Selfie verification

    A selfie with a given gesture shows that a profile is real. Only our review team sees the selfie; we delete it once we’ve decided.

  • Report and block

    In every profile and every chat. The person never finds out who reported them. We usually review reports within 24 hours.

  • Your location stays private

    Others only see your town and, if you want, the approximate distance. We store a location rounded to about one kilometre.

  • No ads, no tracking

    Lovyu shows no ads and has no analytics tools built in. Your data doesn’t go to advertisers.

  • 18+, from eastern Switzerland

    Lovyu is for adults only and currently available only in Switzerland. It’s run by BE United Group in Salmsach (TG).

You buy in the app. A subscription is billed through the App Store or Google Play and renews automatically at the same price and length until you cancel it in your Apple or Google account settings (at least 24 hours before it ends).

* “Unlimited” means up to 300 likes per day – this limit protects against automated accounts.

Good to know

What does Lovyu cost?

Lovyu is free: 10 likes a day, 1 rose a week and chats with all your matches. If you want more, there’s Lovyu+ or Premium – from CHF 10 for a week.

Where is Lovyu available?

Currently only in Switzerland, as an app for iPhone and Android. The app comes in 40 languages, this website in German, French, Italian and English.

Who can see where I am?

Nobody sees your exact location. Others see your town and, if you allow it, the approximate distance in kilometres.

How do I cancel a subscription?

In your Apple or Google account settings (in Lovyu: Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription). It runs until the end of the paid period. If you delete your account, a subscription keeps running until you cancel it there.

How do I delete my account?

In the app under Settings → Delete account – or here on the web: Delete account. Your profile, photos and chats are deleted.

Can I get my data?

Yes. In the app under Settings → Download my data you get everything we’ve stored about you, as a file.
